Ms. DaVanti earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago in 2006. In 1997, she graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in mathematics and economics. She was admitted to the Illinois bar in 2006 and is a member of the Chicago Bar Association. She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Ms. DaVanti concentrates her practice in litigation. She counsels and assists her clients in a wide variety of insurance defense matters, including construction negligence, automobile negligence, premises liability, contribution, and wrongful death. She also has experience litigating Uniform Commercial Code and breach of contract cases. She has litigated civil cases in state court in Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, LaSalle, McHenry, Peoria, Sangamon, St. Clair, Tazewell, White, and Will counties.

Ms. DaVanti also has trial experience in the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission. She has litigated workers’ compensation cases throughout Illinois and has negotiated many favorable settlements on behalf of her clients.

Prior to law school, Ms. DaVanti worked in California for Towers Perrin and William M. Mercer as an actuarial associate in those firms’ retirement lines of business. During her four years in the pension consulting industry, she diligently served her clients and consistently delivered high-quality quantitative and strategic analyses. Also prior to entering the legal field, she was employed by PacifiCare of California for two years as a financial analyst.
